The experience
A few days, well spent
Use Palma as a launch point, then build a route around wind direction and the coves you want to linger in. Shoulder season brings calmer anchorages and a quieter island rhythm; high summer needs early marina planning.
Suggested rhythm
Day 1: Palma, boat check and provisioning. Days 2–3: a weather-led coastal route with a sheltered overnight stop. Day 4: return with a generous buffer. Add a land day for Palma’s old town.
Getting there & staying well
Palma is convenient for arrival, restaurants and marinas. Port de Pollença offers a different north-coast base. Confirm the departure marina before booking lodging; airport-to-boat time varies significantly across the island.
Plan your budget
Request an itemised quote in the local currency. Include accommodation, airport transfers, activity fees, equipment hire, meals, taxes and travel insurance. Boat trips may add fuel, skipper and marina charges; golf may add caddie, cart and club hire. Flight prices are separate. This guide does not publish a live tariff.
Conditions & local etiquette
Confirm the skipper, vessel capacity, insurance, safety equipment and whether fuel, moorings, cleaning and taxes are included. The skipper decides the safe route based on wind and weather. Check protected-area anchoring rules and avoid seagrass beds.
