Choose your course
Pebble Beach Golf Links is the headline coastal course. Nearby Spyglass Hill and The Links at Spanish Bay can broaden a Monterey Peninsula trip; they are distinct venues, not alternative names for Pebble Beach. Ask the official resort about current visitor booking windows, any accommodation conditions, caddie arrangements and maintenance dates before committing flights.
The experience
A few days, well spent
Plan the golf booking first, then the lodging and coast drives. Public access does not mean walk-in availability: reservation windows and resort-stay conditions vary. Allow time for 17-Mile Drive and Carmel, while respecting private areas and road access rules.
Suggested rhythm
Day 1: arrive in Monterey and confirm the round. Day 2: the reserved golf experience. Day 3: Carmel and 17-Mile Drive subject to access. Day 4: another available course or coastal downtime.
Getting there & staying well
Pebble Beach lodging is closest to the courses; Carmel and Monterey widen the choice. Check golf booking requirements before reserving a non-refundable hotel. Coastal fog can affect the feel of the day even in summer.
Plan your budget
Request an itemised quote in the local currency. Include accommodation, airport transfers, activity fees, equipment hire, meals, taxes and travel insurance. Boat trips may add fuel, skipper and marina charges; golf may add caddie, cart and club hire. Flight prices are separate. This guide does not publish a live tariff.
Conditions & local etiquette
Reserve through the official course or an authorised provider. Ask about handicap documentation, visitor access, dress code, caddie or cart policy, club hire, cancellation and weather rules. A famous course may be public yet require advance bookings or a linked stay.
