The experience

A few days, well spent

Choose a base near Jerez, Seville or the countryside rather than crossing the entire region. Match the ride to your actual experience, ask about horse welfare and group size, and reserve time for villages and food. Summer heat often changes the riding timetable.

Suggested rhythm

Day 1: arrive at the chosen base. Day 2: an experience-matched countryside ride. Day 3: Jerez equestrian heritage or a village day. Day 4: a second ride if conditions and recovery allow.

Getting there & staying well

Pick Jerez for equestrian heritage, Seville for city culture or a rural finca for countryside access. Airport choice should follow the base. Ask the riding operator for pickup options rather than assuming public transport reaches the yard.

Plan your budget

Request an itemised quote in the local currency. Include accommodation, airport transfers, activity fees, equipment hire, meals, taxes and travel insurance. Boat trips may add fuel, skipper and marina charges; golf may add caddie, cart and club hire. Flight prices are separate. This guide does not publish a live tariff.

Conditions & local etiquette

Describe your riding experience honestly. Confirm rider weight and age limits, helmet provision, terrain, group size, horse welfare and cancellation conditions. Wear closed footwear suited to riding and avoid rides in extreme heat.
